Gibraltar's only Recognised Provider of the ILM, Rock Learning was founded by Jo & Emma in 2015. They wanted to put their years of experience and training in Leadership & Management Development combined with business expertise together to help companies engage their people by focusing on behaviours that can be changed to improve business performance. All their workshops are designed to motivate participants and encourage them to analyse and reflect on their behaviours and the behaviours of others. It's all about learning to make small changes that can bring big results.
Rock Learning can also offer accreditation from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), the UK's leading training provider in this area.
In 2018, Rock Learning expanded to start organising courses not previously available in Gibraltar by bringing over expert trainers from abroad, saving time and money for local companies. Examples of specialist courses organised include Problem Gambling, GDPR training, Agile Project Management, Microsoft Excel Masterclasses, Cyber Security courses, Ethical Hacking and Drugs & Alcohol Awareness courses. If you are looking for a specialist course locally, please be in touch as Rock Learning may be able to organise the course you're looking for.
Jo Abergel's approach to Learning & Development has been described as creative, energetic, fun, and extremely interactive.
Jo was National Director of a leading National Voluntary Youth Organisation in the UK before she moved to Gibraltar in 2001. With corporate HR experience in two private banks (Lloyds TSB and Credit Suisse), an accountancy firm and within the online gaming sector, Jo has managed to combine her leadership knowledge and business expertise to develop training courses for many local companies, including some of the leading players in the online gaming industry. Since 2017, these courses have been accredited by the ILM.
In her spare time Jo has been Chairperson for Childline Gibraltar and Treasurer for the local CIPD branch.
